Gauteng: Friday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of Gordon and Hendrik Potgieter Road in Florida.
Reports from the scene indicate that five people had sustained gunshot wounds and another had sustained minor injuries after falling.
The five gunshot patients had all sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
It is believed the incident is related to ongoing taxi violence.
All five male patients were treated on the scene by medics and once stabilized were transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further treatment.
