Stop overloading vehicles – Fikile Mbalula on taxi tragedy

21 victims of last week’s deadly crash in Limpopo were laid to rest on Saturday.

24 people died when a taxi and a bus collided on the R81 on Sunday. Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula said South Africans must all work together to cut road deaths.

The minister said passengers must refuse to let drivers overload their vehicles. This should be an example to all of us in terms of obeying the law on our roads,” Mbalula said.
