South Africans took to Twitter to share their thoughts after popular entertainment reporter and influencer Phil Mphela dropped yet another steaming hot cup of tea on his channel. The Entertainment Alert reported on the unpaid salaries of the cast of a SABC series. This cast consists of a number of highly-rated thespians in the country namely the likes of Vusi Kunene, Sophie Lichaba, Sonia Mbele and Katlego and the list is incomplete.
Phil Mphela reported that Family Secrets hasn’t paid the staff. This led to an uproar from fans as they called for the production company to account.

The show’s official Twitter page responded to the reports claiming that legal step will be taken for on the person responsible for this. Phil wasn’t about to back down as he told them to bring it on and threaten to counter sue under the basis that he verified the story before publishing.
