Emtee’s advise to women, how to dress up this summer

Emtee‘s advise on women, how to dress up this summer. We’re still not sure if he was joking or if he was being serious, but the rapper from Matatiele took to Twitter to share his thoughts on women’s fashion this week.

Ladies, Emtee is tired of you wearing bum shorts and short skirts and he wants you to dress up this summer. Simply put, he finds ladies’ attire to be a bit too revealing and he wants women to cover themselves – despite the fact that many regions in South Africa are facing record high temperatures.

The Lesson rapper vented his frustrations on Twitter saying:

We’re not sure if Emtee is familiar with black Twitter. If he is, he shouldn’t have been surprised at the backlash that his tweets attracted. Some suggested that he was being a hypocrite for regularly featuring women who show plenty of booty in his music videos, but somehow having a problem with the trend in real life:

While others insisted that he simply mind his own business:

It is never a man’s place to tell a woman how to dress (after all, nobody has ever called him out for appearing topless in dozens of music videos) but that has never stopped men in entertainment for trying to police women and how they present themselves.

Emtee ought to focus on raising his two children and showing his beautiful partner some love before worrying about how other people’s children leave the house.
