Communities in the Eastern Cape have had to contend with the effects of the COVID-19 lockdown including an ongoing struggle for potable water.
Residents of Dutywa in the Eastern Cape are being forced to share a water supply with animals.
There have been no rains in the area since March. The community said now that travel restrictions have been lifted, they will have to travel further to collect water.
