Candidate Requirements
Duties:
Oversee and supervise a combination of staff (Sales, stores and admin)
Maintain parts systems and processes, accuracy, stock
Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to by yourself and the parts team
Have a critical impact on customer service excellence and enhance the customer’s perception of Bell Equipment.
Manage customer Quotations & Back orders to minimize losses & promote timeous deliveries.
Oversee COD’s cash box & verify COD cheques, bank transfers & bank deposits for validity.
Control after hours standby duties & ensure high level of service to customers.
Manage Inventory in holding area with regular cycle counts and stock takes
Oversee stock returns process and controls
Be on standby 24/7 for support and related assistance
Liaise with customers at all levels within your area including visits to their sites.
Manage “all” parts related reports
Adhere to “all” company SHEQ and OHS requirements
Report to Regional Parts Manager within related responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS:
A diploma in logistics, materials handling or basic management
Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a parts aftermarket environment essential.
Applicants must have strong communication/ negotiation skills.
Must be motivated & resourceful.
Must be computer literate, Microsoft, Lotus Notes.
Earthmoving product knowledge essential. Knowledge of Bell related would be an advantage
SAP knowledge / experience would be an added advantage
Valid driver’s license.
