
Duty Manager wanted immediately: Salary R12 000 to R15 000 per month
Management of the entire Hotel function while on duty either as the right hand of the General Manager or in absence of General Manager
Job Description: –
Responsible for the management of the hotel during each shift
Fully familiarised with all hotel and company policies, as well as hotel programmes offered such as Loyalty programmes, audit and service measurement programmes
Demonstrate exceptional level of professionalism, maturity and emotional intelligence at all times
Ensures that during each shift all concerns are dealt with regarding operational issues that might arise.
Ensures that all requested reports associated with the different departments are accurate and produced on time.
Supplies relevant information to management of the departments to assist them in their respective operations.
Maintains excellent relationships with Hotel guests.
Assists management by being available to answer guest queries and complaints, ensuring the operating standards of the Hotel are achieved.
Shares accountability for the maintenance and cleanliness of all standards in the departments at all times.
Supports the implementation and adherence of all applicable guest satisfaction mechanisms focusing on ongoing service and product improvement resulting in guest loyalty.
Work closely with Guests to greet, converse, and assist with enquiries, especially when VIP Guests, long-stay Guests, and others are in the hotel lobby/ River Bar/Restaurant/ Reception
Occupy the hotel lobby / River Bar and Restaurant, particularly at busy times
Manage, record, and resolve promptly all Guest complaints
Coordinate the services and special facilities provided to long-stay Guests
Stay current with all hotel products, services, policies and emergency procedures
Monitor Guest satisfaction reports and implement actions to improve results
Handle, record and follow through with management issues or emergencies that arise

Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12)
Tertiary Qualification in Hospitality Management
1 year Front office / F&B management experience
Broad-based hospitality experience
Micros and Opera Experience
