Durban: Factory worker airlifted to hospital after falling five meters off scaffolding

KwaZulu-Natal: At 12H07 Sunday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to a falls at a warehouse in Dawncliff, Durban West region.

Reports indicate that while packing boxes, a 45-year-old male worker had fallen approximately five meters off scaffolding, severely injuring himself.

The patient was treated on scene by an Emergency Care Practitioner and once stabilised was flown by Netcare 911 helicopter to a specialist hospital for further care.
