Skills and Experience

Technical Skills

Exposure to Disaster Recovery / Continuity Services environments preferred
VMware vSphere administration– knowledge of replication technologies/Site Recovery Manager would be advantageous
Storage administration– preferably 3PAR, EVA – knowledge of storage snapshot technologies would be advantageous
SAN administration– preferably Brocade/HPE B-series switches
Network LAN administration– preferably HP Procurve switches
Network WAN
Linux administration– some exposure to SAP / HANA environments would be beneficial
Windows administration (intermediate) – server and desktop environments
Server infrastructure admin– preferably HPE Proliant servers
General datacenter/infrastructure management (intermediate) – power, cooling, LAN/SAN cabling, etc
Solution architecture – knowledge of different technologies to build solutions for new customer requirements

Soft skills

Good oral and written communication
Customer focused – maintain good client relations and responsive to client requests
Proactive in identifying potential issues
Solid problem solving ability
Able to work under pressure
Willing to learn new skills and investigate & adopt new technologies
Able to support and advise customers
