Specification:
This position exist to render an efficient service on maintaining of plant and equipment and adhering to safety aspects.
Observe and Adhere to General Responsibilities
Adhere to all employment legislation as amended from time to time.
Adhere to the requirements of the SHEQ-C Code of Conduct.
Adhere to all Company policies and procedures as amended from time to time.
Attend Safety and pre-shift meetings as scheduled.
Attend training sessions as required.
Responsible for general Housekeeping of Plant and Equipment
Good housekeeping practice as per company standards.
Inspections and Reports
Complete all relevant inspections and reports.
Report all faults and problems to the Foreman.
Safety aspects on Plant and Equipment
Ensure compliance with all maintenance standard operating procedures (SOP).
Do not commence with any tasks if the required safety criteria are not met.
Report all accidents/incidents and safety deviations to the Plant foreman/ Plant Manager.
Maintenance of Plant and Equipment
Perform planned and unplanned maintenance.
Maintain plant and equipment to design capacity.
Ensure that tools and equipment are kept in a safe working condition.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Recognized Trade Test Certificate
EXPERIENCE:
At least 5 years’ experience on yellow equipment
