Diepsloot residents are vowing to intensify their protests until the president visits.
The Joburg community says they want Cyril Ramaphosa to experience the crime situation first-hand.
Protests turned violent on Wednesday as foreign-own businesses were targeted and shops destroyed.
Residents maintain undocumented people are responsible for high crime rates in the area.
But, local police did not escape the anger of the community.
Protesters marched to the local station demanding officers do their jobs.
At the same time, the body of slain former CPF chair John Makola was brought back home.
He will be buried in Limpopo this weekend.
