Delivery Driver/ General Worker: A book retail distributor company seeks a reliable and presentable driver to drive a company vehicle to deliver stock safely and efficiently to a designated location.

Key responsibilities: Delivery Driver: Ensure correct stock and quantities are being loaded/offloaded as per delivery notes. May have to lift heavy products or parcels. Loading a company vehicle with stock for delivery. Driving a company vehicle with stock. Delivering stock from one point to another. Weekly Vehicle Inspection and reporting of defects to management. Adhere to all safety regulations and work standards. General Worker

When not out on delivery you will be required to assist in the warehouse. These tasks include: Sticking stickers on products. Picking stock for stores. Packing stock coming off the pallets. Cleaning and packing stock. Assisting where there is a shortage of staff. Housekeeping.

Minimum requirements: Matric or NQF level 4, Valid drivers license & PDP. At least 2 years’ driving experience. At least 1-year experience working in a warehouse environment. Special Requirements: Must have a clean driving record for last 2 to 3 years. Attention to detail. Good verbal communication.
