Senior Debtors Clerk urgently needed: Salary R16 000 per month

R16 000 a month

Minimum requirements:

Matric certificate
Financial/accounting diploma is preferable
A minimum of 5 years debtors experience
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work fast and accurately
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good computer literacy – Pastel Accounting, MS Office, Work Excel (Advance) and Outlook
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Able to multitask
Ability to supervise and assist junior staff as needed

Main responsibilities:

Accurate capturing of information onto Pastel – Customers details and Invoicing
Checking invoicing of junior staff
Reconciling customer accounts
General Administrative duties
Send monthly statements as well as POD’s/delivery notes/credit notes per customer requests. Following up on customer payments, claims etc.
Attend to customer queries and sending feedback (recons/documents) timeously. Ensure customer queries and investigations are resolved.
Monthly reporting on all accounts – Age Analysis together with comments and feedback to Management
