
The latest COVID-19 figures are in, and another 423 deaths have been reported.
More than 13,200 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.
The Western Cape has the highest number of new infections, at over 3,500.
It’s followed by Gauteng, with more than 2,900 new cases.
KwaZulu-Natal has reported 2,400 more cases.
The most recent deaths bring total fatalities to 71,679 to date.
