Responsibilities:
– Daily mixing of feed accurately and deliver feed to cows safely according to a system.
– Monitor feed quality and consumption
– Maintenance of tractors and equipment
– Assist Farm Manager with daily tasks in dairy and on farm
– Supervision of dairy when Farm Manager is off duty

Candidate Requirements
Key competencies:
– Valid Driver’s licence and be able to drive a tractor
– Aptitude for maths and calculations
– Basic computer skills
– Mechanically minded
– Experience of feed mixing and or dairy experience will be an advantage
– Expected to be consistent and punctual
– Detail orientated
– Energetic
– Initiative and drive
– Willing to get hands dirty
– Teachable and willing to learn
– Willing to work during weekends and after hours
