Gauteng: At 12H29 Saturday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Jim Fouche Road in Verwoerdpark Alberton.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a bakkie lost control crashing into a tree.
The patient an adult male sustained serious injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilize him while the fire and rescue services used hydraulic tools to free him from the vehicle.
Once treated the patient was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
