At 20H59 Friday night Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on JG Strydom Road in Weltevredenpark Roodepoort.
Reports from the scene indicate that a light motor vehicle and a motorcycle were involved in a collision.
The adult male motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilise him.
Once treated the patient was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
