COVID-19 in SA: 85 more deaths, 2,055 new infections

South Africa’s COVID-19 death toll has increased by 85 in the last 24 hours.
Most of the fatalities are from Gauteng, with the province reporting 62 new deaths.
The Eastern Cape (5), KwaZulu Natal (9), Western Cape (7) and Nothern Cape (2) also reported new deaths.
The total number of confirmed COVID-19 related deaths in the country now stands at 15, 857.
While the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases is 657 627 with 2,055 new cases in the last 24 hours.
The recovery rate is now 89.2-percent which translates to 586, 844 people who have recovered from the virus.
