COVID-19 cases in South Africa rise to 421,996

The total number of COVID-19 infections in South Africa has risen to 421,996.

The Health Department says 250 new deaths have been recorded.
Most of the new deaths come from Gauteng.

This takes the national death toll to 6,343. More than 2.6 million tests have been conducted.
