3 789 new COVID-19 cases, 47 more deaths recorded in SA

The National Institute for Communicable Diseases has reported 3,789 new COVID-19 deaths.
It has reported a further 47 COVID-19 related deaths.
The Gauteng Province continues to record the majority of infections with 1,218 new cases.
