The line up for Cotton Fest 2022 has been announced. In honouring Riky Rick’s legacy, the festival didn’t get canceled and it had lots of artists and South Africans excited despite mourning the death of the initiator.
“In the spirit of honouring Riky’s legacy, Cotton Fest 2022 will still be taking place at The Station in Newtown but has been postponed to 23rd and 24th April,” the Fest team said weeks ago.
Returning to social media, they shared names of musicians that will be performing at this year’s festival, and it’s over 100 names. Cassper Nyovest is also on the line up as revealed at Riky’s memorial service.
It was said that the late rap icon wanted Cassper as the surprise act for the festival, to prove that they’ve settled their beef. Riky’s passing left many devastated, but his deeds will always be preached, and his legacy will continually be honoured.
