The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa picketed outside the Comair headquarters in Kempton Park on Friday demanding the removal of CEO Glenn Orsmond.
The union feels he is not doing his job as the airline keeps facing turbulence.
Earlier this week, frustrated passengers were left stranded after Comair suspended its Kulula and British Airways flights.
It says it simply does not have enough money to operate.
