Set up of Microservice-based Architecture on Azure PaaS with an API gateway and with integration with on-premise components
Setup of DevOps execution environment with VSTS
Work with client’s innovation team architects
Participate and contribute in cutting edge Cloud Reference Architecture solutions
Provide expertise and leadership regarding Cloud Architecture for both infrastructure and applications in Microsoft Azure
Demonstrate thought leadership in cloud computing across multiple streams
Develops technical roadmaps for future Azure cloud implementations
Ensure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions
Develop PoC as and when required
Perform and drive Cloud migration strategy
Minimum of 8 years of design and implementation experience in IT.
Minimum of 5 years of development experience with either C#, Java or Node.
Minimum of 3 years of experience designing systems for either Azure or AWS.
Strong understanding of the following:
Cloud-centric application solutions: PaaS, Microservices, serverless, API management, containers, orchestration
Cloud storage and data modelling with technology supported by either Azure or AWS (ER Databases, NoSQL, E3 or Storage Accounts, etc)
Continuous integration e.g. Azure DevOps, Spinnaker or Jenkins
Tenant Design and hardening and policies
Security including principles such as least-privilege access, OpenID Connect, OAuth flows.
Azure AD (and B2C) or AWS Cognito
Cloud Networking (VPN, DNS, Load Balancing, Peering and Routing)
Deployment techniques and scripts e.g. ARM Templates, Terraform scripts, Chef or Puppet
Cloud Adoption Frameworks (AWS or Azure)
Hybrid cloud design principles
Monitoring and troubleshooting with either Azure or AWS
Nice to haves:
Solution Architect-level certification from either Microsoft or Amazon
Experience with Office 365 technologies (SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate)
Experience with Big Data
Experience with Pre-sales
Azure certified / AWS certified
