Responsibility:
Duties include installation and commissioning of new systems as well as fault finding and maintenance of existing systems.
Troubleshooting onsite faults on Analog/IP CCTV systems.
Quoting on new and existing Analog/IP CCTV systems.
Installation of Analog/IP CCTV systems.
Commissioning and handover of systems to clients.
Remote viewing, offsite monitoring and DNS account setup.
Basic network configuration, IP setup and addressing.
Basic setup of wired and wireless networks.
Installation and commissioning of video distribution to multiple monitors.
Provide remote support to technicians and clients.
Updating job cards with notes timeously.
Skills:
Extensive knowledge of Hikvision, Dahua and other CCTV systems.
Good understanding of CCTV cabling, power supplies, cameras, DVR’s/NVR’s, network switches and power requirements.
Good understanding of wired and wireless network equipment.
Computer literate.
Excellent written, verbal and communication.
Well organized.
Customer service orientated.
Resolve problems and complaints as they arise timely and professionally.
Ability to work as an individual and as a team.
Work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines.
Punctual and good time management.
Requirements:
Good personal hygiene and be presentable.
Driver’s license.
Clear criminal record.
Minimum 3 years of field experience in CCTV and networking.
Must be willing to work overtime after hours and on weekends when requested.
