Capetonians can breathe a sigh of relief as dam levels have increased by 4, 6 percent in the past few days.
The city’s storage capacity is at 42, 7 percent following last week’s downpour.
But water restrictions remain in place
Authorities have urged residents to continue to use water sparingly and have called for the city to limit itself to a collective water consumption of 450-million litre a day.
