Job Description
Create detailed designs, manufacturing & QC drawings
Prepare and review rough sketches and review them along with the engineering team
Thinking creatively and critically to support the engineering team in the design process, to create sketches and drawings that work
Creating and continually updating project drawings lists
Printing various formats of drawing sets for engineering team
Systematically saving sketches and drawings on our server; keeping the server organized; updating project folders and files as jobs progress and revisions are made
Exhaustively reviewing and checking sketches and drawings for errors, before being sent to relevant stakeholders
Seeking clarity and understanding from engineers and project managers when you are not 100% certain of something
Organizing and uploading drawings to storage sites/collaboration project sites to share drawings with project team
Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality
Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards
Create manuals that describe existing products’ operation, features and maintenance
Comply to engineering & draughting best practices
Conforming to Vault systems & controls
Maintaining filing structure & part numbering system

Experience:
Drafting: 3 years (Preferred)
AutoCAD: 2 years (Preferred)
CAD: 2 years (Preferred)
