The inquiry into Busisiwe Mkhwebane’s fitness to hold office has been adjourned again. The suspended Public Protector has no legal counsel. Seanego Attorneys says it has parted ways with her due to what they call ‘professional reasons’.
Mkhwebane says Seanego’s mandate was terminated as soon as her legal funding ran dry. She says she is not willing to waive her client-attorney privileges as to what the firm’s reasoning may be.
