Bucie is famous for making sexxy sensual music. But the R&B and house music sensation…HAS BECOME THE LATEST CELEBRITY PUNCHING BAG! The Thando Lwethu hitmaker (real name Busisiwe Nqwiliso) was allegedly beaten by her hubby, Nhlanhla Nkomo.
This happened at their matrimonial home in Roodepoort, west of Jozi, two months ago.
According to a police statement, Nhlanhla meted out the beating on the star after grabbing her phone and going through it.
The 32-year-old songbird in September reported a case of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm (GBH) at the Honeydew Police Station.
According to her police statement, seen by the SunTeam, her husband came into their bedroom and snatched her cellphone from her.
Read the statement, in part: “Victim Busisiwe Nqwiliso alleged that on 25 September at about 9.40 pm she was at her house in Helderkruin, Roodepoort, and was with her husband, Nhlanhla.
“He came to the other bedroom and grabbed her cellphone from her hand. He went through her cellphone and then went out of the bedroom. She followed him and asked for her cellphone. He then slapped her on the face and she pushed him down the stairs.
“He came back and continued to assault her with an open hand.
“He hit her with a fist on her face and on the head. The victim has no visible injuries.”
Sources close to the couple allege that the two are going through marital problems.
When called for comment on Friday, Bucie requested the SunTeam to email her questions but hadn’t responded at the time of going to print. Nhlanhla was not available for comment.
