JOB DESCRIPTION:

The role of Regional Branch Manager focuses on supervising the management of all satellite branches in the area. The Regional Manager is responsible for leading, guiding, motivating and managing the Branch Managers in order to ensure that operational goals, standards and requirements are met. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with head office to set purchase prices, presenting extensive reports on tonnages and commodities purchases at all branches as well as ensuring that Health and Safety regulations are strictly adhered to. Compliance with the Second Hands Good Act is crucial for this role, as well as maintaining good customer relations which includes ensuring that the company`s standards of business integrity are maintained. The Regional Branch Manager must at all times conduct him/herself in such a manner as to reflect the professional and ethical values of the Group.

QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE:

Degree or Diploma in Management/ project management or related qualifications
Previous experience of at least 5 – 10 years management experience in a Production/Engineering/Manufacturing/ project management environment.
Strong computer proficiency, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Health and Safety rules, regulations and procedures
Flexible and willing to work overtime
Work independently
Ability to motivate team
Ability to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly in written and oral communication
Knowledge or ferrous and non-ferrous metals would be beneficial
Preference will be given to multi-lingual applicants
