Bookkeeper urgently needed: Salary R15 000 to R20 000 per month

Expanding company in the paint industry requires a Bookkeeper to join their Port Elizabeth branch. Strong accounting experience, and knowledge of Omni software beneficial and should be noted in the cover letter.

Responsibilities include:

Full bookkeeping function to trial balance and monthly management accounts
Stock management
Monthly general journals
Liaise with auditors and Financial Manager (Head office Gauteng), and Branch Manager
General office administration, and fixed asset management
Debtors: maintain credit apps for all customers, collections, reconciliations, and credit control
Creditors: monthly recon to statement and system, load on Omni, load on the bank
Cashbook: current account, credit card, vehicle asset financing, fleet card, petty cash

Qualifications and skills:

Post matric financial relevant qualification and 4 years bookkeeping experience up to Trial Balance
Experience using Omni software is beneficial and should be included in your cover letter.
Experience in the automotive/construction industry would be beneficial (not essential)
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to work independently required for this role.
