
The South African Union of Students says it wants the NSFAS board dissolved and Higher Education Minister, Blade Nzimande axed.
It follows a report and audio recordings released by Outa in which Nzimande and NSFAS chairperson, Ernest Khoza, allegedly discuss millions of rand in kickbacks from the fund.
Meanwhile, the scheme admitted earlier this week that 20,000 students are still waiting for their 2023 allowances to be paid.
