Black Coffee shows DJ Maphorisa some Love

World-renowned DJ Black Coffee, had us reaching for tissues when he paid tribute to the king of Amapiano, DJ Maphorisa. The DJs who both have illustrious careers in the entertainment industry have been making some boss moves recently. It is no secret that DJ Maphorisa has been working tirelessly to produce great music and he continues to be celebrated for his work.

One person who couldn’t be prouder is Black Coffee. The DJ took a moment to pen an appreciation post to Maphorisa. Black Coffee paid tribute to his work on Twitter and said if there is any moment he felt unappreciated, he is here to tell him that, he is appreciated.

He wrote “Please know we love and appreciate you if there was ever a time when you felt you were not appreciated I’m here to tell you We Love you and Thank you for all you’ve done for all the artists you’ve worked with and the Scene. We love you Broski. Maphorisa replied and said “I thought I lost you grootman, I look up to you, I appreciate u hearing my pain. Love is the key & music is made to unite not divide. Let Sauta dance either way.”

On Friday Maphorisa asked his fans who runs the game and Black Cofee responded and said no one, this is after Maphorisa said he runs the game. The DJ said he has developed many artists.

In other news – South Africa’s lockdown restrictions could last months: report

South Africa’s 21-day lockdown period could be extended by between two and four months to manage the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak effectively, according to Rapport. The paper cited a report by Boston Consulting Group (BCG), which said that infections in South Africa will only peak in the beginning of June.

The report said restrictions could realistically only be lifted somewhere between the end of June and the end of August. Countries which have been hardest hit, have extended their lockdown periods. Read more
