One of Stellenbosch’s most historic wine farms, corporate-owned, offers the facilities of an upmarket restaurant and separate function facilities, requires he expertise of an experienced Functions & Banqueting Coordinator who will primarily handle the Private Function side, including weddings.
THE CANDIDATE:
Should preferably be a young approachable lady, with a bubbly personality.
Good administrative skills
Be able to work under pressure
Would be the face of our client’s restaurant for Weddings etc., building a relationship with the client from the initial introduction, through to the event itself
THE WORKING HOURS:
Shifted 5 day /45-hour week
Time given back in lieu for any overtime generated
Will need to work flexible hospitality hours
Public holidays, weekends
Restaurant is open seven days a week
Breakfast Monday to Saturday
Lunch Monday to Sunday
Dinner Wednesday/Friday/Saturday only
Our client remains open on the evenings should they have functions or large groups that wish to book.
THE PACKAGE:
R12 000-00 basic salary, per month
+ Provident Fund (Company contribution 10.25%)
Optional Discovery Medical Aid (Company subsidy of 50%)
Whilst not part of the remuneration package, the candidate would also receive a portion of shared gratuities/tips
