Are we finally going to see Bonang Matheba’s boyfriend?

Bonang Matheba has done a great job of keeping her boyfriend a secret for the past year, but could she be about to reveal him to the world… on her reality show? It’s been just over a year since Bonang started hinting at having a new lover in her life.

It began with a couple of subtle references on social media, which quickly turned into full-on declarations of love and even suggestions that she could be tying the knot as soon as this year. She’s made it very clear that she’s off the market and everybody can see that she’s madly in love with her bae. The only problem for most of her fans is: we don’t know who her new boyfriend is!

The star, whose every move is followed by tabloids, fans and haters alike, has done an incredible job of keeping the identity of her mystery lover a secret (although, as we reported this week, she has confirmed that he lives overseas). However, if recent reports are to be believed, we might finally get to meet Mr Matheba (the name we’re giving him until we have more information!) on an upcoming episode of Being Bonang.

The reality show kicked off its third season on Friday the 19th of July but a recent tweet has us suspecting that, among the many revelations set to take place this season, she will finally be sharing the identity of her lover on the show.

It all began when a number of tweeps were buzzing about the Queen B’s mentions and asking who her boyfriend was. Bonang swatted away the nosy followers and although she didn’t confirm any of the rumours, she advised her followers to watch Being Bonang if they wanted more information.
