I must be allowed to prove my innocence – ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule

Suspended ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule says he must be allowed to prove his innocence in court. Magashule insists that there are no charges or witnesses against him. He was speaking in Leratswana where the community paid tribute to him as the former Free State premier.

This comes just two days before he returns to court for his pre-trial hearing. Magashule is embroiled in corruption charges related to the R255-million asbestos tender. Meanwhile, Magashule says the Guptas should return to say who is actually corrupt.

Atul and Rajesh Gupta were arrested in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
