The amapiano vocalist Kamohelo ‘Kammu Dee’ Duma was rushed to Lesedi Clinic in Johannesburg where he received treatment. He is now safely home and is recovering quite well. According to his statement, he alleges that he was poisoned by a close ally. He claims that the person who is in his circle poisoned him because of jealousy and wishes for his downfall.
The musician who rose to fame after the hit song ‘Ama Uber’ broke records and had people dancing all over Mzansi. The song was also praised for being the perfect introductory tune to the Amapiano genre that has gained momentum. He has expressed how grateful he is to be alive and well after his experience with food poisoning.
Speaking to SundayWorld, he said “Whoever did this knew that I’m about to drop a single, so for them it was a good idea to release the single when I am no more. Fortunately, God protected me from evil people. Next time, I will have to be vigilant [with] who I share a drink or food with,”
Kammu’s manager Lebo Mhlangeni confirmed the incident however remained mum about any foul play he alleges to have taken place. They are just relieved that he was admitted for anything rather than the deadly coronavirus that has claimed so many lives world wide.
