TYPE OF APPLICANT:
We are looking for a team player with a passion for and extensive experience in installing high-end security systems for our clients.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Installation, programming and troubleshooting of:
Paradox alarm systems.
Access control systems.
Effective execution of onsite installations and related activites
Effective execution and resolution of ad-hoc client callout requirements
Daily reporting on project and callout work
Ensure that all company installation related processes and procedures are adhered to
Ensure that all installations and work performed meets the company’s standards
Maintain open communication between yourself and the various company departments
Maintain record of all project activities and communicate any issues through internal channel
Candidate Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & REGISTRATIONS:
Matric
PSIRA Registered
EXPERIENCE: (Minimum of 5 years or more in all of the below ares)
Installations, programming and troubleshooting of:
Paradox EVO alarm systems
Paradox access control
Programming of paradox internet module
Sound knowledge of electronics
Ability to read construction plans
Valid RSA Driver’s licence essential
ADVANTAGEOUS:
Own vehicle
IP CCTV systems. Installations, programming and troubleshooting.
Biometric access control systems. Installations, programming and troubleshooting.
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Clear criminal record
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Able to work within a team
Ability to meet deadlines and targets on time
Customer focused
Attention to detail
Willing and able to work overtime, at weekends, etc. as required
High in energy and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
