News365.co.za published about the split of the 2 stars and the local celebrity couple has reached their expiry date after alleged cheating allegations on Seiphumo’s part surfaced in the media.
According to City Press, a SABC insider alleged that Seiphemo’s infidelity had caused the couple’s split and was the reason he had left the home he shared with Mthiyane.
“When Zoe found out that he was cheating with one of their colleagues on Generations, she was very hurt. Although their relationship’s always been toxic, this broke her – she lost herself,” the insider said, adding that Mthiyane’s colleagues were worried that if she continued her alleged drinking, her character might be written out of the soapie.
“She’s been through a lot. No woman deserves the pain she’s going through,” said the source.
City Press reports suggest, the pair has a very bad break up that ended in tears when the couple broke up because of Rapulana’s alleged philandering ways with his “Generations The Legacy” co-star, which has been hard to handle for Zoe.
According to City Press, Mthiyane has since battled with alcohol abuse which has gotten her in trouble with the law and at work on many occasions, leading to her suspension by the production due to forgetting her lines and stalling production.
Speaking to the publication, the actress opened up stating that she is at peace with the relationship’s sour end.
“It’s over between us. I am content” Zoe said.
