South African actor, Themba Ndaba is one of the most talented actors in South Africa right now and he is best known for his role as Brutus Khoza in Mzansi Magic’s The Queen where he stars alongside Connie Ferguson.
The award-winning actor who turned 57 years old in February 2022 is a family man in real life. He has been married twice in real life, first to actress Sophie Ndaba with whom he has two children, and then to his second and current wife Josey Ndaba with whom he has one child together.

Themba Ndaba’s children with Sophie Ndaba
In 1998 Themba Ndaba got married to Sophie Ndaba (currently known as Sophie Lichaba) and the two made one of the loveliest couples in Mzansi. Sophie is a model and an actress best known for her role as Queen Moroka on Generations.
After close to ten years of marriage, Themba and Sophie called it quits on their marriage and had a divorce. It’s unclear why the two decided to divorce but their divorce was very civil.
Even though the marriage ended, it produced something beautiful- the birth of two beautiful children- a daughter and a son called Rudo and Lwandle. Here is everything we know about them.
Rudo Ndaba
Rudo Ndaba is Themba Ndaba’s daughter with Sophie Ndaba and the eldest of his children. She was born on 19th August 1990 when her mother was only 18 years old.
According to sources, Rudo Ndaba studied at Inanda Seminary School which is an all-girls school in Kwa-Zulu Natal. It is unclear which tertiary institution she attended but sources report that she went to the University of Cape Town.
Despite having prominent parents, Rudo Ndaba has managed to maintain a very private life and not much is known about what she does, her relationships or even where she is currently based.
Lwandle Ndaba
Lwandle Ndaba is the second of Themba Ndaba’s children with Sophie Ndaba. He was born on 6th November 1999 and is currently 22 years old.
Lwandle is following in his parents’ footsteps in the entertainment industry but he is carving his own path and he is a musician, a television and radio producer, as well as an events MC.
In 2021, Lwandle caused a stir online after releasing a song in which he dissed his mother’s ex-husband, Max Lichaba whom he accused of abusing his mother.
Themba Ndaba’s child with Josey Ndaba
After his first marriage ended, Themba Ndaba found love again in the arms of Josey Ndaba and the two got married in 2011.
Themba Ndaba’s second wife (also current wife) is quite private and not much is known about her. Even her pictures have not been published online.
The couple celebrated their 10th anniversary in 2021 and the two have been blessed with one child- a son called Sibusiso.
Sibusiso Ndaba
The youngest of Themba Ndaba’s children is Sibusiso Ndaba. His exact date of birth is not available but he celebrates his birthday every 22nd of March.
Not much is known about him except that he attended Henley High and Preparatory School and he graduated in 2016.
It seems like none of Themba Ndaba’s children has pursued a career in acting like their father so far. Will at least one follow in his footsteps? Well, time will tell.
