The daily COVID-19 figures are in and a further 189 deaths have been reported. The health department said 6,590 new cases have been identified. The Western Cape still has the most new cases, with over 1,900 recorded in 24 hours.
KwaZulu-Natal isn’t far behind, with over 1,500 new infections. Over 1,200 cases were recorded in Gauteng.
