Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi is beaming with excitement after she was invited to be a guest on The Daily Show. Ever since her win, she has been on everybody’s lips and once again, people will get to experience her personality. The excitement on the social media streets is contagious. Not only will she be on TDS, but she will be interviewed by a fellow Xhosa – that’s host and comedian Trevor Noah.
Miss Universe and Trevor have been praised for raising the South African flag high and showing the world what the country is made of. And now, the two gems sharing the spotlight is the content people signed up for.
Zozi’s media presence has been commended, as she continues to represent a majority of black women who have been subjected to certain stereotypes. The Eastern Cape beauty will be on Tuesday’s episode of the show and fans are already jokingly suggesting that the two entertain the masses by speaking nothing but their mother tongue.

In other news – Mi Casa’s Dr Duda ties the knot
While many of us were lazing around the pool or watching TV, there were huge celebrations at the weekend — Dr Duda and Karabo Maroga tied the knot.
The Mi Casa muso married publicist Karabo in two ceremonies, a white wedding in Jane Furse in Limpopo on Saturday and another in Tweefontein, Mpumalanga, on Sunday. Read more
