Miss Nigeria’s reaction to Zozibini Tunzi winning Miss Universe is #FriendshipGoals – Watch

Zozibini Tunzi’s Miss Universe win is exactly what the country needed. We’ve already been on such a roll but more than just for South Africa, this win is for the entire African continent and for black girls across the globe.
When the announcement was made on Sunday evening, a lot of people were excited. From South Africans in the audience to Zozi’s parents who beamed with pride in their traditional Xhosa attire: umbhaco. But one person who caught the eye of many was Miss Nigeria, Olutosin Itohan Araromi. Her reaction to Zozi’s crowning is probably one of the sweetest and hair-raising moments.
Olutosin made sure to move everyone who was in her way on stage to get to her bestie and roommate, Zozi. When she finally got next to her, Zozi turned to her and the two beauty queens exchanged words of affirmation. At some point, Olutosin was giving the beautiful Zozi a big thumbs and huge smiles – now that’s support!

The two’s friendship kickstarted on the very first day they met. Zozi posted a video taken by Olutosin, joking about how happy she was that she finally arrived so she can have someone to take pictures of her.
“My roommate is finally here and she has now officially become my personal photographer/videographer. Well done on your first day of the job @iamolutosin, you have 8 more days to go!” Zozi wrote on her Instagram page.
Tweeps concluded that Miss Nigeria is the best friend every girl needs, and we couldn’t agree more! Yasss Queen!
