The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) wishes to advise its valued members of the public that as per our Public Notice Number 2 of 15 January 2019, none of our members of staff are on strike or any sort of collective job action.
Contrary to mischievous and malicious social media reports that ZIMRA employees on strike burnt down the Beitbridge State Warehouse on 29 January 2019, the correct position is that
1. The cause of the fire is still being investigated; and
2. All ZIMRA employees are on duty and are serving.
Transacting members of the public are advised to shun any false or fake news circulating and bent on causing alarm and despondency.
