Zimbabwe beat Zambia to win COSAFA Cup 2018. The Warriors of Zimbabwe won the game 4 – 2 after a thrilling Cosafa Cup final which will go down as one of the best finals in the tournament. This was a much-anticipated game and it lived to its hype. The game started all fired up as both teams scored in the opening ten minutes of the game.
Zambia defender made a blunder while trying to do a back pass, the Zimbabwean striker Tino Kadewere made no mistake as he punished the Zambian defence. Zambia quickly replied as they scored 6 minutes later.
The teams went to halftime 1 all, but Zambia was in the lead 2 minutes as they fired the ball past Zimbabwean goalkeeper George Chigova. Zimbabwe then replied in the last minutes of the added time and forced the game to go to extra time. Zimbabwe then showed their class in the extra time as they scored 2 goals in the 30 minutes extra time.
Zimbabwe became the first team to win the Cup for the 6th time as they continue to show dominance in the tournament….More to follow
