People came in numbers at the Lehurutshe Stadium outside Zeerust and the night did not disappoint. Lehurutshe Stadium was taken to a different level of entertainment and people had the time of their lives on Tuesday night at the 3rd Annual Zeerust Beach Party.
People from local villages and nearby towns also came to see their favourite artists and to enjoy themselves.
With dancing and singing throughout the night, various artists from local to big names took to the stage and each gave the ultimate turn up performance.
DJ Maphorisa gave the best performance of the night. People went crazy throughout his set.
Performances from MoFlava, Dineo Ranaka, King Martin, Maharaj, Amo Dince, Ceega and Mthi also kept people off their chairs and the stadium was on fire till the morning.
Omphile Wanna (25) well-known as King Martin, a local Dj from Kopano FM from Lehurutshe Village, said it’s an honour to get an opportunity to showcase his talents.
“Events are like this are a big thing to us. It’s a great platform to get, this is where people get to recognize our talents as local artists,” he said.
He added that most people here don’t afford to go to big cities to see their favourite artist. Events as such are the only opportunity to boots our villages.
