Nandi Madida comes out after hubby Zakes Bantwini attacked

TV personality and Singer Nandi Madida stood up for her husband Zakes Bantwini referring to the news he shared about load shedding a few months ago.
Nandi was reacting to a tweet that was speaking about the news of a lady who is on oxygen and is struggling during load shedding.
The Tweet read: “A lady who is on oxygen, is crying saying when there are #blackouts she has to wake up her whole family to ask for help or stand by the window for some oxygen. She says she doesn’t know what to do. This is devastating 💔President Ramaphosa honestly, this needs to stop!!”
Nandi said Zakes Bantwini was right when he spoke about people losing their lives because of load shedding.
She tweeted: “@ZakesBantwiniSA and you tried highlighting this a few months ago… Twitter is really such a toxic platform at times. Its sad people are going through such 💔”

Earlier this year, Zakes Bantwini tweeted that there are people that he knows that died because of load shedding.
“I know at least 4ppl who passed today, their ventilation stopped working because of load shedding. I wonder how many ppl lost their loved ones today because of load shedding, can we at least deal with one pandemic at a time pls,” read Zakes’s now-deleted tweet.
Tweeps accused him of lying, here is what they had to say.
@ginogavaza wrote: “U just decide to LIE unprovoked.* hospitals have backup generators.*all these 4 people u know happened to be in ventilators????”
“Even if they have a backup! U will notice where there is a backup, everything just stops for a moment while the backup generator automatically starts to be on! What’s happening to the person using oxygen at that time?” tweeted @GracyMosetlha.
@Nene_charlene responded: “As an Electrician, I can tell that sometimes Generators don’t kick in immediately due to lack of maintenance or equipment malfunctions the list of possible causes for no immediate changeover is endless, Kodwa ke he never said anything about Hospitals.”
