Well-known Mzansi veteran musician Yvonne Chala Chaka’s mother died, and she shared the news on 4 March. She remains one of the most celebrated gospel musicians in the country. She won several awards, honorary positions, and doctorates with her music.
Among them is an honorary colonel in the South African Air Force, showing how much South Africans love and respect her. With such a connection with South Africans, some fans consider her family and mourn her mother’s death.
Among them was fellow musician Nhlanhla Mafu, who described Yvonne’s mother as her queen.
“Condolences, my queen, sending God’s comforting prayers to you and your family ❤” she said.
Sharing on her Instagram, the talented musician expressed how heartbroken she was. “Rest in peace, mother. Rest in peace; gogo wa a ntwana bam. Tlela ikurula mhane. ” she said.
Despite some fans asking, Yvonne did not share the cause of her mother’s death. If the family chooses to, more details will be coming shortly.
After Yvonne Chaka Chaka revealed that her mother had died, her fans also mourned her, wishing the family to heal fast.
