Viewers were not happy with Lady Zamar attitude on #IdolsSA

Season 15 of the world’s most popular singing competition, Idols has kickstarted in South Africa. Currently, the show is in its audition stage – whereby aspiring musicians are given an opportunity to audition in front of heavyweights in the music industry.

Guest judges are usually invited on the show to assist the other three resident judges namely, Randall Abrahams, Unathi Nkayi and Somizi Mhlongo. This time around, award-winning musician, Lady Zamar was invited to be a guest judge on Idols. However, her presence wasn’t entirely received well by the viewers, with some even declaring that they are no longer fans of the muso. Some viewers even suspected that there might have been beef between Unathi and Lady Zamar.

Not much is known about Lady Zamar therefore when viewers experienced her in her full capacity as a person, many were simply not impressed. Her judging skills left a bitter taste in some people’s mouths, hence she was expected to give constructive criticism to the contestants.

There was also a specific remark that Lady Zamar made about a young man that had eye problems. Zamar made an inappropriate or rather sarcastic comment in regards to his eye condition. Viewers got riled up because they felt that she of all people should know what it’s like to be body shamed.

Quite recently, Zamar spoke out against the cyber bullying that she endured due to her heavily decorated acne face. One might have thought that, Zamar would have taken a more emphatic route due to her experience but the people were not happy with her attitude on Idols.
