Western Cape mass screening, testing in full swing

Dozens of health workers are fanning out across the Western Cape on a mass campaign to screen thousands of people for COVID-19. It’s the second-most impacted province, with almost 500 cases.

A second death was recorded there over the weekend. In the Cape winelands town of Paarl, many residents appeared unsure about submitting themselves to the screening process.

Mobile clinics have been set up and nurses are collecting information from residents and handing out flyers regarding the virus.
