Renowned talk show host Wendy Williams-Hunter usually pokes fun at other celebrities on Hot Topics – a segment on her show that shares salacious gossip about other stars – but yesterday the star turned the cameras on herself when she shared that she is living in a sober house.
“I never went to a place to get treatment. I don’t know how, except God was sitting on my shoulder, and I just stopped,” she continued.
“But there are people in your family — it might be you — who are struggling, and I wanted to know more of the story,” said. She went on to explain that her parents didn’t know that she has been staying in a safe house. “It’s only my husband Kevin and Kevin junior, who know that I have been staying in a safe house – nobody else knew, “the 54-year-said. On a mission to help other recovering addicts, she said she and her hubby have opened a foundation to help those that suffer from addiction. “So far we have signed 58 people suffering from addiction,” she said.
